So... What is a Trunk Show?

What is a Trunk Show?

Strictly speaking, its a bridal term for a 'collection preview' from a Bridal Designer. Typically a bridal Designer launches a collection of, say, 60 dresses, and a bridal boutique choses their favourites to stock in the store. TRUNK SHOWS are generally the ONLY way to be able to view every dress in the collection.

At the trunk show event we assess your personal style, and give you the opportunity to look through and choose gowns to try on. We will also advise on styles you may not have considered, as lets be honest, the dresses don't look the same on the hangers. We will also advise you on custom changes that are possible. ENZOANI COUTURE will customise your gown at the point of construction, and make your gown a complete one off, personalised to make your perfect gown.

  1. Trunk shows are by appointment only and fill up fast. So don't wait to reserve your slot (and if you can't keep the appointment, please be courteous and call to cancel.)

  2. Bring one or two people whose opinions you trust, any more an it can be confusing trying to please everyone else, you may well leave with a dress they love but not really what you were looking for.

  3. Whilst the advantage of a trunk show is seeing the very latest in Bridal Fashion, the down side is the dresses are only here for one weekend, so this rules out thinking time as the dresses go back to the designer.

  4. Whilst most of our designers restrict any discounts on their gowns, Trunk Shows are the only time where the Designer will reduce the cost of a dress, in order to take advantage of the discount, you will need to place a 50% discount deposit at the time of placing your order.

  5. Your dress will arrive 10 weeks prior to your wedding date, the next step being your dress fittings!

Our Next Trunk show is scheduled for March 24-25th
